Welcome to our home.
Behind Edebäck Swedish House are we: Alain and Mairiam. After a busy, fulfilling career in Belgium—Alain in agriculture and Mairiam in aeronautics—we decided to make a major change for the final third of our lives. As avid travelers (Spain, Corsica, Greece, the United States…), we regularly visited Sweden for vacations, especially because of Alain’s passion for fishing. Having fallen in love with the incomparable quality of life, the tranquility, and the unspoiled environment of Värmland, we decided to settle here permanently. For us, settling here was a way to stay active, keep moving, and share our zest for life.
